TLK Compensation

TLK compensation for dental prosthetics

What is it?

The TLK compensation for dental prosthetics is a state-funded financial support program for patients who require dental prosthetic treatment. Through this program, the costs of such services are partially or fully covered by the Territorial Health Insurance Fund (TLK).

This system ensures that certain groups of residents — seniors, children, people with disabilities, and patients recovering from oncological diseases — can restore their dental function and smile without facing significant financial difficulties.

The compensated amount is transferred directly to the treatment facility, meaning patients do not have to pay for prosthetic services in advance or handle additional paperwork.

Į TLK kompensaciją gali pretenduoti įvairaus amžiaus pacientai – nuo vaikų iki senjorų.

WHO CAN APPLY

Who is eligible for TLK compensation?

The right to receive TLK (Territorial Health Insurance Fund) compensation for dental prosthetics is granted to:
  • individuals who have reached retirement age;
  • children under 18 years of age;
  • patients who have undergone treatment for oral, facial, or jaw oncological diseases.
For these patients, the costs of dental prosthetic services are covered by the TLK up to the established limit and paid directly to the healthcare institution.

WHEN AND HOW TO USE IT

How much time do you have to use the compensation?

The TLK dental prosthetics compensation is not granted for an unlimited period.
From the day your healthcare provider registers you in the system, you have three years to use the compensated dental prosthetic services.

If, for any reason, you do not complete your dental treatment within this time, the process will need to start over — you’ll have to visit your dentist again and obtain a new registration.

After using TLK compensation, you can apply for it again three years after the last compensation date.
